To Set Up Your Email Account in Microsoft Outlook 2007

1. Start Microsoft Outlook 2007. When the Startup Wizard displays, click Next.

   NOTE: If the Startup Wizard doesn’t automatically display, from the Tools menu, select Account Settings, and then click New. In the Add New E-mail Account dialog box, select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, then click Next.

   

2. On the Account Configuration page, select Yes to indicate you want to configure an email account, and then click Next.
3. On the Auto Account Setup page, enter the following:

   Your Name

   Enter your first and last name.

   E-mail Address

   Enter your email address.  ie coolexample@andwireless.net

   Password

   Enter the password you created for your email account.

   Retype Password

   Enter your password again.

4. At the bottom of the page, select Manually configure server settings or additional server types, and then click Next.
5. On the Choose E-mail Service page, select Internet E-mail, and then click Next.
6. On the Internet E-mail Settings page, enter your email account information as follows:

   Your Name

   Enter your first and last name.

   E-mail Address

   Enter your email address.

   Account Type

   Select POP3.

   Incoming mail server

   Type pop.secureserver.net for your incoming mail server.

   Outgoing mail server (SMTP)

   Type smtpout.secureserver.net for your outgoing mail server.

   User Name

   Enter your full email address again.

   Password

   Enter the password you created for your email account.

7. Select the Remember Password checkbox, and then click More Settings.
8. In the Internet E-mail Settings window, go to the Outgoing Server tab. Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
9. Go to the Advanced tab. Verify that you have 110 for your incoming server (POP3) and 80 for your outgoing server (SMTP), and then click OK.

   NOTE: If you have trouble sending email you can also try 25 or 3535 for your outgoing server (SMTP) port.

   

10. Click Test Account Settings. Microsoft will send itself a message to test your incoming and outgoing capabilities. Once this is complete, click Next.
11. Click Finish.

This tutorial shows you how to set up Microsoft Outlook to work with your e-mail account. This tutorial focuses on setting up Microsoft Outlook 2003, but these settings are similar in other versions of Microsoft Outlook. You can set up previous versions of Microsoft Outlook by using the settings in this tutorial.

To Set Up Your E-mail Account in Microsoft Outlook

	On the Internet E-mail Settings window, select the “Outgoing Server” tab.
	Select “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.”
	Select the “Advanced” tab and change the “Outgoing server (SMTP)” port to 80 or 3535.
	Click OK.
	Click Next.
	Click Finish.

To Set Up Your Apple Mail

	From the Mail menu, select Preferences.
	Select the Accounts tab, and click the plus sign(+) at the bottom of the Accounts box.
	In the Account Information screen, select POP from the Account Type list, and enter your information as follows: Description Enter the name of your account. Email Address Enter your email address. Full Name Enter your name. Incoming mail server (POP3) Your incoming server is mail.andwireless.net User Name Enter your email address. Password Enter the password you set up for your email account. Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) Select Add Server from the list.
	When the SMTP Server Options window displays, type smtpout.secureserver.net in the Outgoing Mail Server field and change the Server Port setting to 80.
	Under the Authentication list, select Password and enter your SMTP user name (full email address) and password.
	Click OK.

To Set Up Your E-mail Account in Mozilla Thunderbird

	In Mozilla Thunderbird, select Tools > Account Settings.
	Select “Email account ” and click Next.
	Enter your name and e-mail address.
	Select “POP” as the type of incoming server you are using. Your incoming server is mail.andwireless.net Click Next.
	Enter your e-mail address for the “Incoming User Name,” and “Outgoing User Name.” Click Next.
	Enter a name for your e-mail account and click Next.
	Verify your account information and click Finish.
	In the Account Settings window, select “Outgoing Server” listed below your new account.
	Enter “smtpout.secureserver.net” for the “Server Name” and change the “Port” setting to 80.
	Select “Use name and password” and enter your e-mail address. Thunderbird will ask you for your password the first time you try to send mail. Click OK.

1. In Microsoft Outlook Express, select Tools > Accounts.
   
2. Select the “Mail” tab in the Internet Accounts window and click “Add.”
   
3. Enter you full name and click Next.
   
4. Enter your e-mail address and click Next.
   
5. On the E-mail Server Names window, enter your information as follows:

My incoming mail server is a
POP3 server
Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server
mail.andwireless.net
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server
smtpout.secureserver.net
Click Next.

Enter your e-mail address for your account name and enter your password. Click Next.

Click Finish.

Select the mail account you just created and click “Properties.”

In the Properties window, select the Servers tab.
At the bottom of the window, select “My server requires authentication.”

Select the “Advanced” tab and change the “Outgoing mail (SMTP)” server port number to 80. Click OK.

To access email via any web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer or Firefox) go to http://www.andwebmail.net
